A returning customer from Greece recently placed a second order with us for a 2-ton pillar jib crane equipped with an electric chain hoist. The customer works for a local industrial equipment supply company that provides lifting and handling solutions for end users in the manufacturing and maintenance sectors. Since this was their second purchase, the communication process was much smoother, as the customer was already familiar with our products, service quality, and technical support.

Our first cooperation with this customer had gone very well. After the previous order was delivered and installed, the customer gave positive feedback on the product quality, smooth operation, and overall reliability of the equipment. This successful first project helped establish mutual trust and laid the foundation for long-term cooperation. Because of that positive experience, when one of their end users recently needed a jib crane solution, the customer contacted us again without hesitation.

This new project required one 2-ton pillar jib crane with an electric chain hoist, to be used in a workshop for routine lifting and material handling operations. The end user needed reliable lifting equipment for handling machine parts and workshop materials, so the customer paid close attention to the crane’s performance, stability, and ease of installation.

After receiving the inquiry, our sales team quickly reviewed the application requirements and recommended a suitable configuration based on the customer’s previous purchasing experience. Since the customer had already worked with our jib cranes before, they were mainly focused on confirming a few technical details, such as the lifting height, jib arm length, power supply, and hoist operating speed. Our engineering team responded promptly with detailed answers and updated drawings to ensure the crane would meet the end user’s working conditions.

Because the customer already trusted our product quality, the decision-making process was very efficient. There was no need for lengthy discussions about manufacturing capability or product reliability, as these had already been proven during the first cooperation. After confirming the technical specifications, the customer quickly approved the quotation and moved forward with the order.

Once the order was confirmed, we arranged production immediately and kept the customer updated on the manufacturing progress. During production, we shared photos and inspection updates, allowing the customer to monitor the order status in real time. After final inspection, the equipment was prepared for shipment according to schedule.

The customer was pleased once again with our fast response, professional technical support, and reliable production process. This repeat order from Greece demonstrated the value of strong after-sales service and consistent product quality. More importantly, it strengthened our cooperation with this industrial equipment supplier, creating a solid basis for future projects and continued long-term partnership.

SEVENCRANE- freestanding jib crane

Proper operation of a pillar jib crane is essential to ensure safe lifting, efficient workflow, and long-term equipment reliability. Operators should follow standard procedures before, during, and after each lifting task to reduce the risk of accidents and maintain stable crane performance.

Before Operation

Before using the coulmn mounted jib crane, operators should carefully check that the weight of the load does not exceed the crane’s rated lifting capacity. The working area within the crane’s operating radius should be cleared of obstacles to ensure safe movement of the load. All safety devices, including limit switches, brakes, hooks, and control buttons, must be inspected to confirm they are functioning properly. Operators should also verify that the load is securely attached before lifting begins.

During Operation

During lifting, the load should be raised slowly and smoothly to prevent sudden swinging or shock loading. It is recommended to keep the load no higher than necessary, especially when moving it horizontally, to maintain stability and safety. When rotating the jib arm, operators should avoid sudden starts, stops, or sharp turns, as these may cause the load to swing dangerously. The lifting path should always be kept clear of personnel, and workers should never stand under a suspended load. Overloading, side pulling, and lifting hazardous or flammable materials without proper precautions are strictly prohibited.

After Operation

After the lifting task is completed, the load should be lowered carefully to the ground before the power supply is turned off. The jib arm should be returned to its designated resting position to prevent obstruction in the workspace. Operators should also clean dust, grease, and debris from the crane surface and inspect the equipment for any visible abnormalities. Proper shutdown and routine cleaning help maintain the column mounted jib crane in good working condition and prepare it safely for the next operation.
