Our cooperation with this Romanian customer began with a successful purchase of a spider crane. The customer’s company specializes in floating bridge solutions and also imports lifting and industrial equipment from different countries for resale and project applications. With extensive experience in international sourcing, the customer has established long-term cooperation with suppliers in China and has visited several Chinese cities, including Shanghai, Anhui, and Chongqing.

After the spider crane order was confirmed, the customer quickly returned to us with a new requirement for jib cranes. This time, the customer initially requested a 6.3-ton jib crane. Based on the customer’s working requirements, our engineering team prepared the technical proposal, quotation, and drawing for review.

After carefully checking our quotation and drawing, the customer made several adjustments to the parameters according to their actual application needs. During this process, the customer also decided to expand the order by adding one additional 6-ton jib crane.

The customer then asked whether we could offer a better price for the two cranes. Considering our previous successful cooperation and the customer’s expanded order, we actively communicated internally and agreed to the customer’s reasonable request for a discount.

After the price was confirmed, we promptly prepared and sent the Proforma Invoice (PI). The customer confirmed the order, marking another successful step in our long-term cooperation.

This project demonstrates how understanding customer requirements, providing flexible technical solutions, and maintaining efficient communication can turn a single equipment purchase into continued cooperation. From the initial spider crane order to the subsequent purchase of two jib cranes, we are pleased to support this Romanian customer with reliable lifting solutions tailored to their needs.

Applications of Jib Cranes

Jib cranes feature a compact structure, flexible operation, small footprint, and versatile installation options. They are particularly suitable for short-distance and frequent material handling tasks at fixed workstations. Compared with larger lifting equipment, jib cranes can provide targeted lifting coverage within a specific working area, making them an efficient solution for workshops and facilities with limited space.

1.Workshop Production and Assembly

Jib cranes are widely used in machinery manufacturing, automotive parts production, metalworking, and equipment assembly workshops. They can be used to lift and position components, tools, molds, and finished products during production and assembly. Installed close to production lines or workstations, jib cranes can handle frequent short-distance lifting tasks while improving workflow efficiency and reducing manual handling.

2.Warehouse and Logistics Handling

In warehouses, logistics centers, and material storage areas, jib cranes can be used for loading and unloading goods, stacking materials, transferring products, and loading or unloading items from shelves. They are especially suitable for frequently handled small and medium-sized loads, helping reduce manual labor and making warehouse operations safer, more organized, and more efficient.

3.Equipment Installation and Maintenance

Jib cranes are useful for installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and production equipment. They can handle motors, gearboxes, pumps, machine components, and other parts during dismantling and installation. Since the crane can be positioned close to the equipment, it can perform lifting operations within a limited working area without occupying excessive floor space.

4.Temporary Construction and On-Site Operations

Jib cranes can also be used for factory renovations, equipment installation, small construction projects, interior work, and temporary outdoor operations. Depending on the application, certain mobile or portable jib crane designs can be repositioned to different working areas, making them suitable for projects without permanent lifting equipment or where lifting positions frequently change.

5.Confined and Special Working Areas

Jib cranes are particularly suitable for basements, low-clearance workshops, narrow production areas, maintenance rooms, and other confined spaces where conventional lifting equipment may be difficult to install or operate. With their compact structure and flexible slewing capability, they can efficiently lift and move equipment, materials, and components even where available working space is limited.
